   I bought this as a spare, but now it is my preferred down-haul tool.

   Because the diameter is slightly bigger it feels really nice and comfortable in your hands, which in turn makes it easier to apply down-haul (particularly when you need quite a bit of down-haul, e.g. on larger race sails).

   Another benefit, particularly in the winter, is that it is not made out of metal and therefore it doesn’t feel as cold in your hands!
