Developed by Exocet’s raceboard team featuring, Marcos Ruesch, Curro Manchon, and Patrice Belbeoc’h, the RS V7 represents one of the most advanced and tactical designs in the range. For sailors competing in diverse conditions, it offers the tools needed to navigate challenging courses and make the most of every breath of wind.

Building on the proven success of earlier concepts such as the Unifiber Proteus hull, the focus has been on refining construction methods and shape to create a board capable of exceptional upwind speed without compromising downwind and reaching performance.

The hull is carefully balanced by a low profile and generous volume distribution at the bow and stern, preserving total volume while improving stability and trim. Where earlier designs often favoured heavier sailors upwind and lighter sailors downwind, the RS V7 accommodates a wide weight range, helping heavier sailors plane early and giving lighter sailors better control upwind.

The daggerboard retains the effective Pivot System, allowing adjustments to length and angle to suit conditions. A longer blade delivers extra power on light-wind upwind legs or can be retracted for control in stronger breezes. The housing is designed to accept custom setups, and both the daggerboard and mast track are positioned forward to optimise balance.

A subtle shift of the fin box forward enhances drive when reaching, rounding out a set of features aimed at all-around performance across every leg of the racecourse.
